AIC B 43/10. EU-OPS 1.652 IFR or Night-Operations - Flight and Navigational Instruments and associated equipment.

Denne AIC henvender sig til ansøgere samt indehavere af
dansk Air Operator Certificate (AOC) udstedt i overensstem-
melse med EU-OPS 1.
Ved udstedelse af AOC, kan Statens Luftfartsvæsen, med henvis-
ning til Commission Decision af 3.3.2010, dispensere fra kravet i
EU-OPS 1.652 (c) ” counter drum pointer or equivalent presentation”
for så vidt angår flyveoperationer der finder sted i 10.000 fod / flyve-
niveau 100, eller derunder. Udstedelsen er betinget af at Statens
Luftfartsvæsen kan godkende forholdsregler der tilsikrer, at piloten,
under både normale og unormale omstændigheder, er bekendt med
og trænet i, at aflæse de berørte højdemålere korrekt.
EU-OPS 1.652 IFR or night operations-Flight and navigational
instruments and associated equipment.
An operator shall not operate an aeroplane in accordance with
Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) or by night in accordance with Visual
Flight Rules (VFR) unless it is equipped with the flight and naviga-
tion instruments and associated equipment and, where applicable,
under the conditions stated in the following subparagraphs:
(a) a magnetic compass
(b) an accurate time-piece showing the time in hours, minutes and
seconds
(c) Two sensitive pressure altimeters calibrated in feet with sub-
scale settings, calibrated in hectopascals/millibars, adjustable
for any barometric pressure likely to be set during flight; These
altimeters must have counter drum pointer or equivalent presen-
tation.
